Hansika Motwani to pair up with NTR

Hansika Motwani, the heroine of blockbuster 'Desamuduru' is going to pair up with Young Tiger NTR, for a film to be produced by C Aswinidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies with Meher Ramesh as director.

This is her second film in Telugu. Debutant director Meher Ramesh had earlier worked as an assistant with popular director Puri Jagannath and proved himself as a successful director in Kannada.

It may be mentioned here that 'Okkadu and Idiot' of Telugu were earlier remade in Kannada in Meher Ramesh's direction. Though 'Andhrawala' was a disaster in Telugu, it was remade in Kannada as 'Veera Kannadiga' under Ramesh's direction and it was a big hit there.

All these three films were moulded on the screen with the sons of Kannada Kanteerava Raj Kumar. Presently NTR was busy with the shooting of 'Yamadonga'.

After the completion of this movie, Aswinidutt's film would go to sets.

Hansika selected for Kantri

Yamadonga, the latest flick of 'Young Tiger' NTR is in final stage, getting finishing touches. The film is all set to hit the screens in the first half of August; the possible release date would be August 15. Even as the film is getting ready to be released, another film is ready to go to sets.

Produced by C. Aswini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanti Movies, Kantri has Meher Ramesh as director. There are two heroines in Kantri and Hansika is selected as one among them. Suspense continues as to who would be the other heroine. There are six songs in the movie. The film had completed the first round of music sittings in the US under the Manisharma's direction. This is the first movie for NTR under this banner. The film is likely to go to sets from September.

Director Meher Ramesh is none other than the protégé of Puri Jagannath. Though this is his debut film in Telugu, he had experience of directing two Kannada films called Veera Kannadiga and Ajay.

Hansika Motwani to feature in music video

Hansika Motwani, who had an impressive debut with this years runaway hit 'Aap Kaa Surroor-The Moviee', opposite Himesh Reshammiya, will now be seen in a music video.

The video is being directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, who debuted in 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon' but later settled down by marrying Bhushan Kumar the head honcho of T-Series.

A medley, which will be shot in Mumbai, it is the third video from the album 'Phir Bewafaai', sung by Agam Kumar Nigam along with Tulsi Kumar.
